1. Welcome to Waypaper
By creating an account or using Waypaper (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree with any part, please don't use the Service. Waypaper is a planning tool — you're responsible for the accuracy and legality of the itineraries, reservations, and content you create.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your content
You own the itineraries, photos, notes, and reservations you upload. By publishing an itinerary publicly you grant other Waypaper users the right to view and copy it into their own library. Private itineraries, reservation PDFs, and memories remain visible only to you and anyone you invite as a collaborator.
4. Collaborators
When you invite a collaborator to a trip, they gain edit access to that trip's days, activities, budget, and memories. Only the trip owner can publish, un-publish, or manage the collaborator list. You can remove collaborators at any time.
5. Reservations & bookings
Waypaper is not a booking agent. Reservation details you enter (confirmation numbers, PDFs, payment status) are stored for your reference only. Any travel purchase you make must be done through the actual provider. Waypaper is not responsible for the terms, refunds, or cancellations of any third-party booking.
6. Gear recommendations
Gear suggestions link to Amazon via an affiliate program. Waypaper may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. We only recommend items that fit the destination type of your trip.
7. Local Guides Marketplace
Guides are independent contractors. Waypaper facilitates the connection but is not a party to any agreement between you and a guide. Reviews, ratings, and messaging are provided “as is” and we reserve the right to remove content that violates community standards.
8. Prohibited use
Don't use Waypaper to publish content that's illegal, hateful, deceptive, or infringing. Don't scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our systems. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Travel plans involve risk and change; we can't guarantee that a suggested itinerary, weather, or reservation will turn out as expected. Use good judgment and consult official sources for visas, safety, and local regulations.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Waypaper grows. Material changes will be surfaced in-app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
